Ever since I started doing wedding photography, one of my wishes, besides elopements on mountain tops of course, was to document an intimate wedding
at a castle in France. There’s something about them; the artsy bohemian feeling and the fairy tale like environment the castle gives you. Then, last year, along came
my first giveaway and these two lovebirds were the lucky winners. Thanks to them I got to document one beautiful and emotional wedding at the
dreamiest castle in France, St Victor la Grand’ Maison. From the moment I got there I was kind of overwhelmed by everything. All the setups, the ceremony altar,
the reception barn, which looked amazing thanks to Lotte, one awesome wedding planner, the food, the wines, the lovely surroundings, all of them were
pretty much as I’ve hoped they would be – raw, french rustic with an artsy vibe. Even if the weather was a little stubborn and it rained all day, nobody really cared
because love was happening there no matter the circumstances. More so, the rainy weather gave the entire day a moody scenario that I loved.
So without further ado, I leave you with this beautiful, laid back intimate wedding that I was lucky enough to document.
The next day we went for a walk around the castle and shot some portraits. The sun was kind enough to come out and shine a little for us.
